The first step after arriving is to fill out the new patient forms. Please allow approximately 15 minutes for this, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment. If you prefer to fill out these forms at home we will gladly send them to you via email upon request.
At the consultation, Dr. Wishmyer will listen as you share your concerns and what you desire to achieve at WISH ChiroSport so he can make the right recommendation on care so you can reach your healthcare goals.
During the examination Dr. Wishmyer will perform and complete a thorough comprehensive examination.
A series of X-rays may be needed to allow us to clearly determine the best course of action for your care. X-rays provide Dr. Wishmyer an objective diagnostic tool that shows the positioning of the spine (or body) and can help determine if any structural changes need to be accounted for. X-rays also allow an inside look at the quality of the spine (or body) and safety of adjusting it. At WISH ChiroSport we specialize in motion study X-rays to detect and determine the best care to correct any subluxations.
At the end of your initial visit you will be scheduled for a Report of Findings within a few days. This appointment is about 20-30 minutes set aside outside of the normal adjusting hours to ensure one on one time with Dr. Wishmyer as he will go over your findings and give you recommendations to reach your healthcare goals. The time between the initial visit and report of findings is where Dr. Wishmyer takes an in-depth thorough look at your X-rays and examination findings to give you the best recommendation at the report of findings.
Ongoing care is where your normal routine adjustments will take place, based on the recommendations set at the report of findings. These visits typically require less time at WISH ChiroSport because the course of care has now been established. Our team understands time is valuable and we make it convenient when scheduling or rescheduling your appointments at our office.
